Is south Philly a nice area to live? if so what are the best neighborhoods?

my dad lives in the south philly area yet i don't like the area where he lives by (snider ave), so im trying to find out where in south philly is nice to live the best neighborhoods (clean, nice young ppl, nice spots etc)
