Who do army wives contact?

My husband and I are stationed at Fort Irwin. It is the National Training Center, so a lot of the husbands spend loads of time in the field. Well I just moved here in July and since I have been here the crime rate has skyrocketed. Every time the husbands are in the field there are break-ins and s, because they know that most of the husbands are gone and the wives are home alone. And since the post is building new housing, there are a lot more people on post that are not military. I would really like to contact someone here on post to see what the wives are supposed to do in this situation. There is no reason that the dependents should not feel safe in their homes while they're on a military post. I really feel this it outrageous. So please, does anyone know who to contact in a situation like this?
