Ammonia explosion in the fish tank - what do i do?

if your test kit is using strips, there could be something wrong since the testing strips are sometimes inaccurate. i agree with the other guy who said only 25% changes. i also wouldn't use any chemicals since they may afect the test results. if you don't get your answer here, go to a fish forum since they might have better feedback. good luck.
